Barack Obama is a succesful spokesperson. His use of words and tone of voice are captivating and dominant for the audience. He speaks not for certain groups or races in America, but he speaks on behalf of the entire countries beliefs. Obama is a respected man by many, not only for his courage to be the first running president but for his love and passion for his family. In this speech he states his love for his wife and children, along with how proud he is of them. His knowledge, his articulation, and his poise are all factors that make his speeches effective. He is passionate about his speeches and when he speaks them they are full of feeling. What impresses me most about his speech is his love for his family. You can feel by his tone of voice the love, appreciation, compassion and care he has for his family. How he uses anecdotes of his childhood along with his wifes in his speeches. How he speaks of his deceased grandmother who raised him. Reading his speech is interesting, however hearing it is more prominent because you can hear the tone of his voice. He pauses at the correct moments, and he puts exaggeration on certain words. He is absolutely amazing in drawing the audience towards him and accepting him. Remarkable.
